Typically found in neighborhood theaters, passive 3D technology entails handing out cheap, lightweight glasses that don't require batteries. With the help of polarized lenses and a unique display filter, these glasses enable each eye to see even or odd lines. Passive displays are lightweight and inexpensive(mostly around 3$ a pair), but they are not precise because each eye sees only a portion of the image. Creative approaches, such as the use of two projectors, try to get around this restriction by enabling viewers to always see the entire image through correctly adjusted lenses.
