VANET technology has the potential to revolutionize the way we travel and increase the safety and efficiency of our roads. One of the most prominent real-time VANET use cases is Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). V2V communication can be used to provide forward collision warning, lane departure warning and emergency electric braking to the driver, reducing the likelihood of accidents. V2I communication can be used to provide real-time traffic updates, weather updates, and information about roadworks and other hazards to drivers. In addition, V2P communication can be used to enhance pedestrian safety by providing information about the location and speed of surrounding vehicles. Furthermore, VANET can be used to support advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as lane departure warning, lane keeping assist and automatic emergency braking. Overall, VANET technology has the potential to significantly improve the efficiency and safety of our transportation systems, making our roads a better place for everyone.
